Guaje aka River Tamarind, White Leadtree, Jumbay, Ipil-ipil, Tan Tan, White Popinac (Leucaena esculenta) is a small fast-growing mimosoid tree native to southern Mexico and northern Central America (Belize and Guatemala) and is now naturalized throughout the tropics.
