Evergreen Huckleberry (Vaccinium ovatum)

Ornamental Bushes are densely covered with small dark green leaves that are bronze or reddish when new. The delicious black berries are great eaten fresh, in pies, jams, jellies and syrup. Attractive branches can be used in wreathes or bouquets. Very productive. Can grow into a thick hedge 3-6ft high. Is naturally found in shady moist areas. Zones 7-9.
