Elegant™ Cornelian Cherry (Cornus mas) is a heavy producer of large dark red, sweet pear shaped fruit that is good for fresh eating and preserves. Attractive tree grows to 10 or more feet tall and has showy early season yellow blooms with fruit ripening in August. Nice purple-red fall color. Hardy zones 4-8.
