Elberta Peach

California's leading peach for all purposes! Large peach, usually elongated, with golden yellow skin that flushes with red where exposed to the sun. Yellow flesh if very rich and sweet. This variety is both self-fertile and freestone.

Ripens in from late July to early August. Requires 800 hours annual chilling below 45 °F.
